Seems like a legit product, Every contractor / "consultant" I've ever worked with abides by it.

Recently peaked at a contractor's work for a thing that was built a year or so ago.

The thing literally can do all of one thing, it doesn't do it well, and it would be / way better just to rebuild from scratch than to modify it.

It wasn't even complex, just some CRUD shit without a lot of complexity and somehow he uses like 5 tables to do a thing, and turned the code it into a knot wrapped so tight there's no getting out.

@N00bPancakes over engineered and complex as hell to maintain, even when it could have been a 10 minute change. sounds about right to me.

@C0D4 as I'm prone to over-engineering (as a result of overthinking, thanks mild ADD), maybe I should consider getting a job as a consultant 🤔
