The recent of me going back to Sublime, is that Atom can not handle big files without lagging very badly. I even purchased Sublime 🙈

Atom is awesome! But... ST it's more powerful. I guess there's where you see a native app vs a multi-platform framework based (electron).

Maybe that's why Chrome eats too much RAM, Chrome it's becoming an OS! (Way to deviate from the original response)

@KnightsOfCode The registration prompt of Sublime Text is the reason why I turn to Atom.(「・ωï½¥)ï½¢

I swear on my own life that I shall register my Sublime Text... As soon as I make some money to do so.

I'm another who paid for Sublime. Worth every penny :)

Happy to pay for the years of service it's given me. Probably a minority though 😂

There. Seems like we gathered all sublime license owners in this thread. :) (including me, btw)

Purchased it years ago. Will do the same with version 3 eventually.

Paid user here. They surely deserve it

This thread had some of the most honourable people I know. I personally use Atom and Sublime Text when I was still learning. I still think Sublime Text is awesome, and would definitely pay for it if Atom wasn't there.

A few years back o bought a license for it. I don't use it on any of my machines haha!

How about a non-user who has payed for a registered copy? (Used to use it)

I'm still a college student, but the first thing I'm doing with my first salary includes buying a Sublime Text license.

Totally worth it. Been competitive programming on it for three years and always loved it.

I can proudly say I have it registered (said nothing about paying for it though) 😈

Paid for ST, still uses Atom here.

I did and paid for it. Proudly supporting Aussie coders here.

On the contrary, every ST user I know has registered.
Come on, how many hours of work does it cost you? How many hours do you use it? Would you like to see an update this year?

I feel in love and bought my license nearly instantly.

It's party the reason I continue to hope for it's future despite other options being available.
