    @ScriptCoded a JavaScript/html/CSS operating system with direct access to the JavaScript runtime, json, arrays and all

    @lopu operating system as in actual operating system? Like windows?

    @theabbie well more the interface side of it, I still don't know how to describe it succintly, you can browse json, open runtime paths like you can filepaths in an os

    @lopu Name should be the last thing, it's unique name, doesn't sound like OS but might work

    Thing door makes no sense neither grammatically, nor meaning wise. I'd suggest something different

    @frogstair well I was thinking along the lines of you've got your front door, garage door, they lead to the word infront of them, well this app is a door to things, like objects, arrays, etc.. it's the thing door! Haha

    I also own dingern.com which means things in German, but it's awkward to say in English..

    @theabbie what comes first? Code itself?

    @lopu If you have made everything and are looking for a name to release it, then it's fine.

    @theabbie Alpha stages haha

    @lopu door thing makes sense, it's a thing that is a door

    @lopu what's your thought process behind this name?

    @F1973 read my comment a little bit above, because the platform let's you create "things", like JavaScript objects, arrays, strings etc.. it's like a door to things, a thing door, the whole platform, like a garage door leads to a garage, a thing door leads to a thing. Another funny thing is you open apps and websites, so you'd be opening thing door :P

    @lopu the name doesn't convey the message without explanation. No go for me.

    @F1973 and Amazon does lol? Or Twitter, or Google

    @lopu good point.

    They don't want to convey any meaning via the name. They just want an abstract name.

    You on other hand want to.

    @F1973 good point too haha

    Define "operating system".

    @lopu The "gate" is more suitable for "entry to something" meaning
