Jokes aside; if you're asking us which language you should start with, to learn programming, you have to answer that yourself.

It depends on your career/personal goals. What do see yourself doing (e.g web developer, data scientist, etc) after you've become competent? -

Has someone really delivered something great in production using GO ? -
@guru depends what you mean by great, one of my former roles had a product in Go that was stable and did the job pretty damned well. I also know that UK supermarket Sainsburys have a substantial amount of Go in their codebase for online shopping and order processing.
Whether those things are great or not, I leave to you.
