There's nothing like the fresh smell of emails on Monday morning, soooooooo fucking many random emails, actually, 2,708 fucking emails, 99.9999999% are stupid useless logs or alerts that have no meaning to me, and yet, I have to setup outlook rules to filter out this shit.

Ah, another glorious Monday 😤

    Gotta get a log server / service ... something.

    I have a few temporary things log to email just to "hey I want to see how that ran real quick like in the mornings" but I turn them off pretty fast.

    @N00bPancakes totally agree, and "we" the "company" has them, except... when teams throw a mailing list into the recipients list 😞

    I get it, errors happen, emails are easy, but..... not everyone needs that email!

    Or the "job xyz" has completed -> every 10 minutes 🤪

    And since this is a daily level of bullshit flooding in, the teams responsible are obviously "actioning" them, hmm "actioning" took me 5 times to not be auto corrected, not in quotes for quotes sake.

    @C0D4

    DL lists too, brutal.

    My slack is full of failed jobs and etc... nobody cares (its expected behavior to some extent).

    Granted that channel is quiet enough that I can go trigger something and still check the channel to see if I broke something else, so.... that kinda works.
