Client: the platform isn't sending emails
Dev: I'll look into it
(Finds all emails are being sent without issue)
Client: I just tested and I'm not receiving emails. This is obviously a site wide bug and I'm upping the priority to "Critical". I'm also getting everyone over here involved.
(Looks into clients account)
Dev: you didn't turn the setting on to allow emails to be sent to you.
Client: this is still a site wide bug that is affecting everyone.
(Provides screenshots showing emails are being sent and opened. Client closes ticket and doesn't respond anymore)11 -

Spaces Vs Tabs - A real world case.
So one of the menial tasks I was given here was to take a pretty mock and turn it into an HTML email template. Needless to say, I hate emails and HTML.
After many weeks of trial and error, rejection and tweaks, we're doing our final tests when someone noticed that Google's clients are chopping off the footer and saying "View Full Email".
A few searches yield that Google has a 102KB cut off for email size. We did some checks and found that we were at 104KB. I immediately thought it was my CSS inliner being a little too verbose, but as I went in to edit things, I noticed that the file was intended with spaces!
Now I'm a fan of Silicon Valley, and I recalled an episode from this past season where Richard mentioned something about saving file size by using tabs. I had never really considered that point.
So I went back into VSCode and told it to convert all of the individual templates that make up this giant email to indent with tabs...
The file size dropped from 104kb to 82kb.
I wasn't very polarized on the Tabs vs Spaces debate, but this here has given me a nice real world example as to why tabs rule.20 -

You think developing websites cross browsers is hard
Try developing emails.

I accidently spammed my own server from my other server, which caused fail2ban to go bananas.
Fail2ban sent ALOT of emails to my hostingproviders abuse department and they due to the amount of emails they got suspended my server.
I can't blame them :)8 -
A billion dollar company just sent me a nice email template.
Probably the dev missed a tutorial.

I've been wondering for a while, how the backend my team has to use could have so many issues. I was convinced they had no alerting system in place and have been commenting on it for a while now, and complaining about it.
Was on a Zoom call with one of the backend devs today, he shared his screen and had his email open. I saw a folder he had setup called alerts, and sub folders under that. One of them was named the name of the service/app we are using ... it had over 360,000 un-reads ... and emails are automatically deleted after 4 months in my company.
So they have alerts setup, they just don't care ... problem solved. Enjoy your weekend folks!2 -
why is it so hard to convince people to start using slack chat and giving up sending internal emails?10

Forget about Internet explorer compatibility, EMAIL TEMPLATES are the actual worst. Outlook uses the same html rendering engine as MS WORD. It's sooo painful. All the bad practices you had to do 15 years ago, you have to do when you write email templates.
YOU WILL NOT KNOW PAIN until you have to make an email template, that works in Gmail, Yahoo Mail, OUTLOOK, outlook.com, outlook for mac, MOBILE, Android, the gmail app, IOS, apple mail, and so on. And after you make an unholy abomination of table garbage, then having to make it responsive/mobile friendly after all that!
If something is broken in one client, fixing it will break something in a different client! And then having to take a stab in the dark to try to fix it and then sending yet another test email (which costs $ per test)
I must have slashed decades off my life having to build email templates. It really is horrendous. There are frameworks like Zurb for email that at least let you feel like you're using a modern workflow. But things break just as often.
Honestly if you have the option, use a wysiwyg editor for building emails. At least when it does break (and they all will) you can at least blame the software.
Which is better than spending 4 hours on why that table cell doesn't line up correctly in outlook.7 -
I had a recruiter contact me today, calling me Andrew in the process. Believe it or not my name isn't Andrew, and the email address they sent it to was me@MYFULLNAME.com, so they should be able to get my name right.
I responded to them pointing that out and advising they never contact me again. (In a somewhat sassy way).
In a well crafted apology I was informed that they had a great track record and that mistakes happen. Here's the email's subject line:
RE: Hi.. opportunity in New Haven, CT (Downtown- next to train station)- RUDE DO NOT CONTACT EVER AGAIN
I responded more kindly that I appreciated the apology but the subject line confirmed my position of "not interested."
This was followed up by them trying to "recall" the email, and resend it... Like I didn't notice the insult in the subject line of your apology...
Nicely done, nicely done.7 -
The company I work for have this obsession of sending phishing emails to employees. If you report the email you get a message saying good job. If you fail, and you open it you have to have a meeting with your boss and stuff. They do this multible times a week.
So now we have this situation where a lot of important emails get deleted as collateral damage, as the employees are parnoid of opening them. Fantastic system with no flaws at all.🤔🤔7 -
Ooh my f**king god! These privacy emails are getting out of hand now!!!!! I blame Europe for spoiling my inbox.10

Recruiter emails me about a role. I replied that I am not interested.
Two weeks later, the recruiter emails me again that my profile is not suitable for the role and they have saved my details and will contact me in future.

SH: Here are some emails getting sent to spam.
Me: These are sent by third party vendors that you contract with. I have no control over what they do. You need to talk to your vendors.

1,715 JIRA-related emails. ALMOST TWO THOUSAND EMAILS. I mean seriously, that's BY FAR the largest email filter I've got. I mean I had them muted of course, but when you really think about the whole thing... are we just wasting our lives chasing some garbage that doesn't really matter? ugh.

First few times being made to make mobile responsive emails (from scratch, not generators) was an utter psychedelic mess I never wish to have the pleasure of returning too.
I since have had the pleasure of refusing this, as being able to maintain this chaotic mess created which has to be able to work across the major email clients is just a living nightmare.
There’s hell, then there’s a whole other level.1 -
Well, this one I HAVEN'T seen before. I'm officially getting emails from recruiters addressed to someone else's name

My partner can't wrap her head around why I write all forms of communication in a formal matter, whether it be an email, bug report or text message.

14,190 emails deleted. I got too damn many emails this week at work alone. I'm scared to check my personal emails5

My job sends out emails with things like "You won a prize!" In the subject line with embarrassingly vague reasons to click the links in the email. If you do, the links take you to a site where they slap your wrists for clicking an unknown link and teach you about the dangers of phishing.
It's fake spam. Ironically enough, though, it's the ONLY spam I ever get. It's more annoying than real spam because it never gets blocked by the system like an actual phishing attack would...
It is driving me crazy having to delete these stupid messages every day and they're clogging up my otherwise clean inbox! I don't even know who to contact about this bullshit because they're so "haha we got you!" about it, there's no department claiming responsibility. They're creating their own spam trying to prevent spam. What the hell?7 -
Client sends several emails requesting a new feature. Not a single reply when you email them about said feature.

Twitter emails are the nastiest shit somebody could have ever thought of, theres atleast five million variations of emails: suggestions, you missed these tweets, ... and every single one has to be unsubscribed via its own link, you can't just fucking unsubscribe from all its bullshit2
-
I am beginning to hate the relationship between email and my clients. I never thought it would come to the point where email is the worst communication platform I've ever used because some of my clients simply don't know how to use it properly.
I have one client who never uses the subject header in his emails. This makes conversational threads very difficult to follow, and I can't just scan the inbox I have for him. I have to actually do searches on my emails just to find recent conversations.
For some reason nobody knows how to start a new email thread. I have multiple clients that will just take the last email that I sent them, regardless of what it's about, and start a new conversation completely unrelated to the other email by hitting"reply". I end up with email threads that are 60 to 100 emails long and contain many different subjects, which again makes it hard to find anything. Never mind that they've usually put two or three important attachments, or username password combinations, or other valuable information in there amongst all the noise.
Worst of all, I have a few clients and co-workers who insist on starting a new email thread whenever anything about a particular issue comes up. This means that just today I have five separate email threads about the same goddamn issue from the same damn person. Am I supposed to respond to each thread with the same damned information? One of these people is supposed to be both a media consultant and an SEO expert and really should know better. Also, if you do actually send me an email with a subject like "the robot.txt error", please don't give me one sentence about that and five paragraphs about what color you'd like the background to be. That's ridiculous. How the hell am I supposed to find that later? Especially since we already discussed this in the other email that sitting in my inbox.
I swear I am setting up a bug tracking system simply so that my clients can log in and leave me bug reports, and feature requests, and will stop filling up my poor email boxes with what amounts to piles and piles threads that I have to sort through.
For a person who suffers with a form of ADD this is extremely frustrating. Why is it so difficult for my colleagues and clients to write good emails with good subject lines, and reply to the right damn emails?
Am I just being too anal, or does this bother others as well?16 -
My university alerts all student and staff any time a phishing email is reported. I've yet to attend one class, and I've received a few dozen emails alerting you of phishing emails being sent. It's sad people can't notice the pattern of the emails, and realize right away "Hey this is a bullshit email" and not rely on the alerts.
It's the 21st century; basic computer competency is a necessity.3 -
There is this client who responds to my project emails instantly but goes radio silent when a payment email is sent.

I hate people that always pretend to be super busy and occupied... But then the only argument they bring to the table for not working is
Yeah I have somany unread emails 👀📥
Then when I tell them I sort that shit out before the weekend, they complain they need to make time for that in their busy schedule of not reading emails, listening to spottify and chatting with colleagues 🤭
Yeah super busy boi6 -
There's nothing like the fresh smell of emails on Monday morning, soooooooo fucking many random emails, actually, 2,708 fucking emails, 99.9999999% are stupid useless logs or alerts that have no meaning to me, and yet, I have to setup outlook rules to filter out this shit.
Ah, another glorious Monday 😤rant my inbox is not a log database filters save lives - mostly others fuck mondays god damn it outlook emails3 -
Never thought I'd say this but...I wish IE6 was back for Outlook.

My friend and I (both undergraduate) built a software to track emails for a local company (by the recommendation of my mom :D) now that is finished, it will cost $6 USD per 10,000 emails aprox. There is only one company that sells this service as a B2B, and the cost is near to $1,000 per 5,000 emails 😐. Things are always like that in the IT market?6

Developing a notification API, sends emails to subscribers, email API can take only 100 IDs at once, so partitioned the email list and send mails in blocks of 100.
Forgot to reset the list after every block, so each new partition got appended to the existing list and kept going on.
Ran it against a test DB, which was recently refreshed with near-prod data !!! Thousands of emails went out of the app server in one shot and everybody receiving numerous duplicate emails. Especially the ones in the very first partition.
Got an incident raised by the CEO himself reg the flurry of emails. But, things were out of our hands, quite literally. All emails are queued up in the exchange server.
Called up the exchange server team, purged the queued emails. No other emails were sent/received during this whole episode.
Thanks to Iterables.partition in the present day.3 -
I often wonder if our clients seriously think we have an all-knowing crystal ball of wisdom when they send tickets like "Cannot send emails - please check" while they have like 10 servers and email delivery is a complex matter on its own already.
If I didn't care what our clients think, I'd reply with equally informative email of "Maybe, who knows"...1 -
I tried a tool for analysing mobile applications, since then I keep receiving emails from them.. and this is what I received this morning. the thing is getting serious 🤨3

Okay. I understand that responsive emails are hard. But that's just nonsense... -.-'

Agency hires me to convert a 4 column + sidebar + pattern backgrounds email to responsive, for a big client, I make a redesign, simplifying it (less columns, flat...) to avoid issues, client insists, exactly the same design is needed.
I tell him its almost impossible but I will try, and try, and try, many times, but on their old Outlook, some email parts are not aligned (just that), try, and try, many hours, many days beyond budget... all the times since first explaining that perfection is not possible with all possible email clients, and like 7% is using outlook... At that point, and before, email was so well.
Finally I put an end to this, tell them to pay and leave me alone, as they didn't take my advises and warnings serious, not my fault.
This story is nothing until the discovery I made today: the agency had signed a contract with the client, a bank, in that contract there was the obligation to replicate exactly the same design and should be perfect in all email clients...3 -
People that topic emails with ULTRA URGENT

I fucked up. I used the shebang line #!/usr/bin/env python3 in a script that was being ran every 5 minutes with a cron job. This generated an email to a system that dropped a file for processing and sent an age email for each file every minute. Because the Linux OS generated emails didn’t contain a keyword the script closed by design but I forgot to uncomment the delete temp file line. This started on Wednesday before a 4 day weekend. By the time I got in on Monday I was 40GB over my email quota and receiving 2500 emails a minute. I fixed the script and stopped the emails but down I have to clear out those emails. Here it is Wednesday and I am deleting 1 MB every 3 seconds. This is painful.1

To all my people who don’t like to code emails (the sane people): there is MJML. It’s an easy, quick and overall the best way to create emails nowadays. You won’t need to learn quirks, you can learn MJML in a day and make pretty much any email you need.
There’s even a vscode live preview plugin, don’t know about other ides though but I’m sure there is something.

Why do these e-marketing companies always have some kind of manager/consultant/strategist/marketeer/whatever to handle emails between me and their devs. Instead of emailing with another technical person and quickly fixing the problem I end up sending one billion emails to someone who has no clue on what needs to be done to fix te problem. From now on my emails contains a part called "to your developer:" explaining the technical part of the email.
And no - I don't want to plan a conference call... just let me code dammit! -
I wonder...
On a global scale, how much of Google's storage space is being consumed by unread JIRA emails.3 -
Who else's Inbox is full of GDPR emails. I dont get it what it mean's. I am having 300+ of GDPR.
Thanks3 -
You never know how many services you subscribe to until you count the emails that arrive to you because GDPR
-
when youve optimised your front end code to be blazing fast then marketing says put in these 10 blocking scripts plz we need more emails
-
Client with little bit of sense, issues in emails only through technical support, not a knock on my door while I code. Repeat2
-
Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
Monday I fuck up by duplicatung some emails.
Today my colleague accidentally sent emails in our test system out which in turn reduplicated the same emails I sent.
My boss is going to love it when he's back in. -
The biggest problem I see with current state of AI is the feedback loop it creates in people.
For example, some (usually older people in higher positions) perceive long emails as a sign of courtesy, involvement, and hard work. As a result, others have started using AI to write longer emails for them, to get on "the good side" with their higher ups. And now that many use AI to generate longer emails, those same higher ups got used to it and started to perceive short, straight-to-the-point emails as "rude". So even more people are looking into using AI to generate longer emails as they don't want to seem rude. At that rate it's not long until those that rely on AI to write "better" (== longer) emails get promoted over some hard working person who simply doesn't care to write long emails.
Even though AI didn't do anything, it somehow still "trained" people to start using it and even rely on it, and it even indirectly rewards people who use it for completely meaningless and seemingly unrelated tasks. And in a few years, whatever comes out of this will be used to train the next generations of AI, creating even more of a feedback loop that people will be completely unaware of until it eventually crashes onto itself. Because that loop can't be observed in the AI itself, it has to be observed in the people.4 -
Finally looked at the client who overbuilt his WordPress site that I'd gladly build him a new dedicated custom site for $150k and 12 months.
Even if he says he'll take the offer I have no intention of helping this person. Every time I say edits will be done in two days, he spends the next two days sending me emails with more edits to do on top. Today alone I received 78 emails from the client, 46 from the PM which were forwards of other edits. The entire project was handled wrong from the start and no one has the balls to tell him he needs a better solution than WordPress or what our agency can provide. We have a few hundred clients, he's lucky to get one week turn around time on anything more than copy changes. He wants form functionality changes weekly because he's always got a new idea, the current form has over 30 fields for users to fill out, all required, and he's always asking for more.4 -
My job hasn't started yet but I'm already learning to send emails to 5 people right at the same time while buried deep in paperwork.2
-
That feeling when the cpanel is locked from a startup you don't work at anymore, the sysadmin ignores your emails, and you are STILL CC'd on customer inquiry emails from their domain. 🙄1
-
The contact forms sent emails from no-reply@ and in the last meeting the client told us a colleague of them asked once who "No repli" was and why he's not answering her emails. Well...
(German client, so she may not knew what "no reply" means)2 -
My colleague actually uses multiple email addresses that has different purposes. E.g. one email for travels, one email for work, one email for family, one email for other projects, one email for payments, etc.
I've yet to show him how emails nowadays can help label and sort them by nature.6 -
Ok... I thought I've seen every kind of shitty way to unsubscribe from a newsletter, but this one beats them all... I have to write a fucking email with a request not to receive emails...
There is a fucking useless law for cookies, why there isn't a law that force companies to put a one-click link to unsubscribe on emails?1 -
Meetings that should be emails are uncool and all but have you ever called out an email that should be a meeting?1
-
I have a huge axe to grind about companies sending me emails I have not consented to. Sometimes they have a checkbox for it, which I always, ALWAYS make sure I do not check. Sometimes they just add you automatically as soon as you enter your email adress.
Sometimes the 'Unsubscribe' link leads to a dead page, or just doesn't work.
And sometimes... They send you a bunch of emails to let you know they will absolutely stop sending you emails 😑
Why. Why? WHY? WHYYYYY?!?!?
Why are so many, even otherwise respected and very customer satisfaction minded companies so disgustingly cavalier or downright dirty about emails?
Even after this whole GDPR thing! -
Checking emails while on holiday because, without you, you know someone is gonna make the executive decision to 'rm -rf *' the repo.
-
Public link to data of students, teachers, everyone. Address, mobile numbers, emails, parents numbers and more.
-
Started signing my internal emails:
<Name>
<Department>
Systemsomethingsomethingdarkside (title)
<Contact info>
Day 8 and noone has noticed.
I've been accepted into the mail herd. -
A recent interview was quite weird.
I emailed my resume to this company, the recruiter keeps sending me emails for 3 days asking follow-up questions and bunch of irrelevant crap. After that the emails completely stopped, she answers me back after a month saying I didn't get the job. Still wondering about that huge amount of personal questions2 -
If you somehow, someway, for any reason didn’t know it, emails are valid action attributes for HTML forms.
Yes.
You can submit forms to emails, and it works for ages now. Backend isn’t needed.6 -
I think im lucky. I have recieved only 3 gdpr related emails.
Am I lucky or is the shitstorm just about to begin? 🤣2 -
Tell client we need to add an hour to the budget to test, QA, and proof account/password emails to be sent to over 2000 customers.
They say they tested it and to send now.
Charge them for an additional four hours to test, QA, and proof apology emails because client's api was sending broken passwords.1 -
Since finally fixing my email server I keep periodically getting emails with random subjects like "asdfasdfasdf" from all my test messages...
-
I think Google's spam filter got hacked... Got 2 spam emails with those fancy printed subject texts... In the past 1hr2
-
I have become the guy that sends emails to the rest of my team telling them that their code doesn't follow our team's style guide.2
-
I just figured out any emails sent from my Gmail account are sent into the void. Gonna try contacting support.5
-
Dear Gmail, you guys always claim to be the "best" free email provider, yet each week my inbox gets filled with spammy emails, even after marking those emails as spam for the past 1 year. I'm tired of your bullshits. Fucking fix it already!13
-
Another day, another 14 job applications that have been ignored.
Except one. I got an email back from one, but it was some spam filter system notifying me my address is now unable to send them emails.
Why exactly would you send an email to inform the sender they've been blocked???4 -
I reached a new level of desperate
where i am replying to rejection emails
And wish my resume be considered for the next available job opportunities.
So sad and so bad3 -
2018 in a nutshell
New privacy terms and conditions emails.
New code of conduct emails.
today i got stack overflow new code of conducts i have never laughed so hard. -
Jeesh! In the last 12 months I've had a lot of emails from the different services I've used that they've been compromised and a database of emails and hashed passwords have been exposed 😒1
-
I fucking despise making whatever website that needs to send emails.
The final user won't probably receive the emails bc of spam, the customer wont like this and blame me or the company I work for, but never actually PAY for an email service to send emails.
And almost nothing works with the old-ass domains here in Italy, but people will still use those old-as-fuck emails just because they can't make a new one on gmail or outlook.1 -
I was applying for an appartement. Only way to do that is by sending all required papers to a company
The company emailserver rejects emails bigger then 5mb.
I had to send 4 emails to send all required documents1 -
Silicon labs: post on our forum
Me:K fine bitch
Silicon labs: sends me 200 emails a day
Me: silicon labs is fucking retarted(cancels account)
Me: still gets emails.
silicon labs: eats cum and shit for every meal3 -
Ok, for what I saw here, many issues with management can be solved the most bureaucratic, ass-covering way possible – get that in writing and mention it when resulting issues come afloat.1
-
I fucking hate how almost every website now requires your email to be able to download a simple document template
Why tha fuck do you need my email for????
just let me download your fucking template6 -
Vice President of our company uses "pls" instead of "please" in all of her emails.
Not to mention her writing nonsensical technology terms to clients who sadly believe it.
🙄1 -
I hate it when people expect that you read your emails every minute. I can't count the amount of times that I had a meeting with someone that they scheduled on the same day while I am sitting in a lecture(it's extremely rude to not pay attention to the lecturer, come on). Needless to say. I would notice the emails way too late and miss the meetings, because they expect you to be available at a minute's notice as well.
I sent way too many apology emails this year, honestly...undefined it's grinding my nerves already long-ish rant the only reason i'm stressed come on you're academics2 -
Dear uni
Stop trying to fucking nose into my life and find out what I'm doing with it at this moment.
Thank you.

Just wrote a routine that sent 77 emails (instead of one) to the CEO of a company we are working. Needless to say what happened after.1
-
What's wrong with the fake messages on #LinkedIn ?????
a long message talk about making business and something and in the end of it it says just email me and you'll know everything!
Why don't you just text me here...well that's when the fake alarm rings. -
I hate writing those user manuals, answering emails and describing planned solutions...
Just let me code! -
Discovered that somehow a lot of emails sent to my gmail have not been going to Inbox for years... Spent all day going thru them and deleting most.
And going forward it seems in going to have to write an app that puts all these v emails back into the inbox, do at least I know I'm getting them...4 -
When you finally prepare some tea and cookies and want to watch Conan, but you receive FIVE different emails requesting and "urgent" fix 😑.2
-
When sales throws you under a bus because you never answer emails promptly about their pet project, yet multiple emails to them asking for a specification for that project go unanswered. When I mentioned the multiple emails the vp of company advised that they do not have the time for trivial stuff such as emails.
-
I keep getting emails from people I don't know that are like conversations, leading me to believe they aren't sent to the rightful owner. Most of the time, I see the email has uppercase at some places (when mine doesn't).
I just wish the companies could put a mark somewhere in their page when entering an uppercase email that mentions the fact that it doesn't change shit, getting really annoyed from receiving these mails not directed to me 😒 -
I have a domain and nginx server configured on digital ocean. Im trying to make it so i can forward any emails to support@mydomain.com to an existing gmail.
can anyone link a simple guide for this? everything i saw seems to be half solutions that didnt work for me7 -
So I've sent emails to a couple of people (some of which I found on devRant) that were offering work. Typed a small story about myself and why I'd love to take the work.
No reply whatsoever.
Like, I get it if you don't want me, completely understand that, but how hard is it to let me know that.
Like c'mon guys, don't be a dick.
Disclaimers: I got the email address right, they did not land in my spam or whatever since I did receive an email from them in an earlier part of the correspondence. I did give them (what is in my opinion) a reasonable time to respond. They also didn't die or something since they are still active here...2 -
Need help/ pointers; what to write a simple note app, that prompts a users for user name and emails address, then emails those details to a specified email address ...2
-
emails....
how is it that every service can send out so many emails?
30,000 emails just this week, and those are just the ones i dont automatically delete.
how do people deal with it?2 -
Gmail search is fucking broken. Literary emails with the search title just beneath my eyelid and not showing up on search result1
-
Have a question about email service providers. Specifically inbox delivery and warmup. Over the years I gathered a ~200k email database of players from my projects. I cleared them by using debounce.io and now I have 100k clean emails. That means I can send a mass newsletter and bounce rate should be good. Now my main question is what email services provider should I use? For email client I thought of setting up sendy.co, for hosting it use sendybay.com and for smtp use pepipost.com But the problem with sendy is that it sends emails without any delay. Like 2-3 emails a second. Is there a difference in terms of inbox delivery and domain reputation wether I send all emails in bulk with sendy or should I try to keep low profile and send lets say 1k a day? I have friends who use amazon ses and they are able to send even 100k a day, given that emails database is cleared(valid working emails) and bounce rate is low.6
-
Fuck focused inbox on outlook. Who thought it was a good idea? Why dose every company think they should put algorithms on everything to decide what we want to see? I want all my emails not just want outlook thinks I want to see.... Im glad I switched to Thunderbird and only have to deal with it when my colleagues emails go "missing"5
-
I shake my head at companies who think sending me unsolicited emails/texts is going to encourage me to do business with them. :P3
-
You know your e-Post Office really sucks when you receive only now scammers' emails that are _decades_ old.2
-
Not a rant but a question...
Do you guys reply to recruiter emails? I mean sometimes I feel like that they just bulk-send emails and usually I don't even bother but sometimes I receive second and third emails from them and I don't know how to politely tell them that I'm not opened for new opportunities.
Worst thing is that I don't even have many developer friends so I don't have anyone to recommend to them (because I know recruiters are just doing their job too).
I just want to know if it's rude to not reply at all?3 -
I'm not understanding this ...is it me or am I seeing emails that don't look write .. is there a hidden text?3
-
Dev. manager: hey did you check in your changes for that hotfix?
Me: "git checkout master && git log -1"
Dev. Manager: thanks! -
When you open all the bitbucket emails you have to process after you spent just a half day doing your own tickets.
