C# is finer language but php is cooler for me.

With php it might be easier to write bad code than c# but with following the conventions php can be clean.

.net 5 is open source too and better than the versions before it.

I like the way vars work in php, because sometimes being able to return more rhan one type of vars is useful

There is no better or worse language, you can write bad code in both language. Personally I prefer PHP because is dynamically typed.

Every programming language should be used in a appropriate situation.
I think for some projects, php is very useful and some projects should be written in asp.net or node.js or any other languages.
