I would if I had the chance just to see their engineering. I hate the company and abhor the network and I think it plays a role in destroying society.
-
@rantsauce Same, the engineering aspect _alone_ is intriguing, but the rest is despicable.
-
They pay really really well and have great engineering. If that's all you care about (which is true for a lot of people) then why not, it's a good place to work for you.

I am a mercenary, not an artist, codr artisan, craftsman or whatever.
I'll do it for the right amount of money -
@10Dev
FB pays really well. Option packages, great offices, etc. Some friends work there. They have weird work ethics though.
And nuking one server won't do anything.... -
@10Dev I doubt nuking a single server would be enough to get you fired. In fact, if you manage to cause any kind of serious problem by nuking a single server, they'd probably fire the guy who designed that system and give you a bonus for finding a problem with their infrastructure.

@MajorDataclysm That kind of thing happens when people like Zuck want to corner and subtly threaten their enemies. Carlson has consistently and vehemently criticized ALL the tech behemoths, incessantly. Zuck HATES Carlson with the heat of a thousand suns. And Carlson has zero love for Zuck or any other Big Tech tycoon. It’s one thing I can respect the man for and that I have in common with him. The enemy of my enemy.
Imagine unironically WANTING to work at facebook.
