Landed my first technical interview ever with a local dev house. Before the interview I decided I could never work there. Took the interview anyway so I could note down their questions 😎

Curious as to why you could never work there?

@dan-pud there were a few reasons. Firstly they weren't interested in negotiating with me as an individual, despite me being very upfront about what I needed and why. Secondly I met some of their staff at one of their meetups who looked like they were forced to be their against their will. Their employee that gave a talk at the meetup seemed unorganised and confused. The owner seemed like he had no interested in talking to me for more than 30 seconds. Finally the salary was nothing to write home about. I worked at a company like that before in another industry so I could spot the warning signs a mile off. Their website had a great front end though.

Possibly worth working at for the experience and then moving on to bigger and better? Good luck on your next one anyways.
