As someone who works in IT, how is your success rate with the opposite sex?

    Success as in "doesn't run away screaming?"

    Considering I'm not that interested in the opposite gender... Pretty good.

    Works well, nothing to do with being in it tho

    Fantastic. I've worked under female managers and with female coworkers, I've got along with them all fantastically. I've a far better success rate than with male managers.

    Oh, you mean in the dating scene? Well, I've been rejected by some, accepted by others, and am now happily married. I don't think any of that is to do with being a dev though.

    @ilPinguino are you interested in penguins

    @electrineer Nah, I'm just gay.

    (I'm interested in penguins, but not like that. They're awesome, and some pretty badass survivors).

    @Nanos shockingly, people like someone who's not living on the streets

    Pretty well, but entirely nothing to do with my job.

    I am only 17 years old, but I have some experience.

    Was rejected twice. 😔

    Pretty decent. Currently dating someone I really like.

    Had nothing to do with IT either. Sure, Im borderline autistic but Im also confident in my skills and presentation. I believe that's much more important

    Based on my experience, It's been pretty fine regardless of the gender until the point when you have this urgent call in the middle of a date and all of a sudden you have to pull out a laptop and go "Sorry, wait a sec, I have a bug to fix..."

    @TudiKovin The phrase "the opposite sex" is pretty common in this kind of context, it doesn't refer to human copulation here.

    @heartade Yeah true. I tried to be funny but failed hard :)

    Zero because I’m gay
