If you're using .NET for your backend, go fuck yourself. Can't stand these bullshit Microsoft tools/products and these bullshit enterprise developers! They also make our front-end/mobile development lives hell. Why can't you be straightforward you piece of shit? Why does Microsoft deviate from the dev norm in a worse way?!

But I run .NET in linux... Why is .NET bad? I have found it to be a joy to work with.

    What happened?

If I'm the front end guy and not dealing with the back end mostly I just don't care ... what they're using provided they feed me my JSON...

Bash the products all you want, but when you attach us using it your out of line.

If .NET for backend is bad so why do so many companies still use it. Your complaint about mobile development might be vaild beavuse I got a good amount of negative stuff when searching for it

Be a little more polite, Now I will use .NET and not fuck myself to prove you wrong.

I think if you can define the 'dev norm', write it down, publish it, and you'll be a gazillionare.

I dislike Microsoft for various reasons...

Especially their tech evangelists (not sure if they have them anymore, been a long time).

I hate some of their products...

And yeah.... Some devs are fuckwads who should be sent to the moon...

But I'm really lacking context here.

Did you get served by IIS?

Do you have to use Frontpage?

Just attacking without a reason why is kinda sad.

    Need hugs and cookies?

.NET developer here. And I fuck myself each and everyday thank you very much

Lmao. This entire thing made no sense. How can a backend tech fuck you over if you communicate with http.

Sounds like your back end folks might not be up to speed on what you need. What are they trying to do, deliver SOAP messages to the front end or something like that? They likely just need some help understanding what best practices for providing data to a front end might be.

@nikolatesla care to elaborate? Not a fan of M$ in general, but so far I have very little on the negative side to say when it comes to .NET ecosystem and devs... pray tell what’s so fucked up there?

    .NET core is ok.
    Fuck .NET classic tho.

Really only thing with .net core that's screwing me, is how to properly integration tests..

    Using Xunit.
    A class extending WebApplicationFactory<Startup>
That sets up using configureWebhost then passes down a context, for interacting with the container and services are what I have..
    Problem is leaks between testcases..

And no, postman profiles are not satisfying.

@Frederick I guess the line goes where you lash out towards other members of devrant in general.

If you behave like un uncivilized troll you just might get treated like one.
