I am learning flutter as well. the official docs didn't work for me, perhaps because my front end skills are sub par at best.
going through the book 'flutter in action' opened up my mind about what's happening. at times it was important to power through the concepts even if all of them didn't make sense in the first go; I had to Google those tough to grasp concepts and I came across some helpful videos and articles by flutter team (evangelists?).

I am still at the beginner stage, but yeah getting started and powering through the initial learning curve will help

Always try to create custom widgets so that you won't have any spaghetti code, which is pretty frequent in Flutter
