What do you think you will be more happy? If you are shortage of money go with the 2nd option, but if the money is not your problem, it's up to you.
-
I don't believe we can properly advise on these types of questions. These 2 line summaries aren't enough information on the roles and more particularly your personal circumstances. For me, when I've had to make a decision like this, I list the pros and cons of each option and add some weighting to the one that my gut tells me is the way to go. Also, if we advise you on one and it doesn't work out, it'll be our fault! 🙂
-
@samk @CozyPlanes Of course you wouldn't be taking the decision for me, but I would like to know your point of view.
As for the pros and cons of each, there is no more that I'm taking into consideration, the time is the same, job description, etc,etc -
Raeglan388y5 Times bigger pay, and learning a lot, that sounds pretty good.
What are the possibilities of climbing the ladder in both places? -
Option A if money ain't the problem. As while working on something that's already done or adding features on it teaches you alot so that you can choose option b later.
-
Raeglan388y@jpichardo Then take it! Stay open for other opportunities but when you have a choice like that, choose the one that takes you closer to where you see yourself happy.
-
@starless It doesn't seem to be, I haven't finished my degree yet, so I get paid as an intern :(

} else {
alert("Job B");
}
/* but seriously, do Option B */

Guys I need your help, I'm considering the corporate life, and I have two major options
Option A:
A software factory where I would be working on maintaining existent systems and adding features, but I would learn a lot with their shadow program.
Option B:
An IT department where I would use a lot of different technologies, .Net, Java, ADF, etc, maybe even hardware but I would be paid the fifth than with A.
So what do you think?
