Came to the same conclusion one week ago. Fuck man, so many nested files and folders 😥

@alandemaria Each node module has their own modules, my small project is already at 50MB

Why upload to Google drive when you can push to github/gitlab etc.? You can add a .gitignore in that case, but you can't add a .driveignore!

@rayanon I am pushing to a self hosted GitLab server but I store all my files on Google drive
  • 2
@jakej5 ah! How you wish Google added a .driveignore. Don't you?
  • 1
@rayanon can you?!? Well I'm writing one now

@jakej5 no no. I meant if Google added that feature that would be cool.
  • 1
@rayanon dammit, yeah I hope they do soon. I think there is a way to ignore folders through the UI though

@jakej5 oh. That's a pretty nifty feature then.

Note to self, don't use npm.

I did make that mistake once and forgot about it, when I redownloaded G drive a few weeks back it took 2 days to sync on my crappy connection.

@alandemaria I feel soooooooooo sorry for you xD

@scriptex oh whoops lol, I was refactoring and forgot to change it

I haven't read all the comments, so I hope this has already been asked and answered...Why the hell are you using drive for your project? You commit it, and you ignore the modules file...That's on of the reasons you have a package.json...

@rayanon @jakej5 you can ignore sync files with drive if you have the app installed...But still git up up and git out
