    @JS96 i agree. If you are really sure that the number won't cost you anything, waste their time. Seriously. If everybody would waste their time they would go out of business so damn fast.

    Replying also confirms your number is real and they can target you with more and share with others.

    All the scammer want is to talk the victim to give out their card details

    Don't respond with your main number it's similar to spam mails...they send it out to random numbers and when a number responds they know it's valid and will start spamming more
