I'd just drive back to my apartment or the company office, but I have an appointment later so it makes no sense.
I'll probably work until it's dead, and after my appointment I'll go to my apartment and work for a while. I'm way behind schedule already...

19V bricks or USB-C chargers (whichever your laptop needs) are common and inexpensive. It would make sense to buy another one and place it strategically so that this won't happen again.

Are your employers too tight to pay for an extra charger? That's the shit that'd make me be looking for a new role.

Lol my laptop would be dead after half an hour

Get a laptop bag/backpack. Use a specific location in the bag that you check when loading it up. Then get OCD about putting things in your bag a certain way. Do an inventory each time. Go through the exercise of touching each item before you leave.

I have a laptop backpack. I have a specific zipped slot I place the charger and mouse I use in. I put them in the bag. I then will open the zipper and touch both the charger and mouse. Then I feel the bag to make sure the laptop is inside. I am very OCD about this.
