    Better be vfat for long file name support or even ntfs to also have support for huge and sparse files and better robustness.

    @Oktokolo nah like obsesity

    @stupid-punk
    You could install a Windows - doesn't get more obese than that...

    @Oktokolo Who uses FAT these days

    I'd also say I'll trade, but I also want my muscles back. Lost the lean figure thinking I'll get it back again, still trying at the "get it back again" part with no success. And trust me you don't want the joint pain. Or the high cholesterol.

    Here's 60 pounds I don't need.

    At least VFAT is still good for exchanging pictures between Linux and Windows. Both can reliably read and write it. And as it doesn't support ACLs, Windows can't get confused by them.

    NTFS basically is the only choice for large file transfers between Windows and Linux. Windows doesn't bitch about ACLs most of the time. But when it does, you have to take ownership and reenable permission inheritance - which may take ages even for a moderate amount of files and folders.

    Is anyone else into feederism?

    You have the same wish as me.
  • 1
    Is there a specific reason for considering it?

    Are you indeed from some country where fat equals wealth or is it something we miss? If it is the former, is it really that huge of a disadvantage?

    You are so far that you refer to yourself in plural

    @LinusCDE bag I'm from the us it's just hot
  • 1
    @stupid-punk How would being fat help with that?
  • 2
    @LinusCDE being fat is hot
  • 2
    @stupid-punk Oh... well that's... also a reason i guess.

    Being obese normally is just the consequence of living in a suburb optimized for cars combined with not cooking yourself and not resisting the omnipresent instant gratification by ingesting sugar.

    So if you really want to be fat:
    - Always take the car
    - Use escalators and elevators instead of stairs
    - Don't do sports
    - Only eat fast food and never leave room in your stomach (when full, try something sweet - it might still fit)
    - Only drink sugary soft drinks ("coffee" is okay if it is from Starbucks)

    @Oktokolo doesn't work for me
  • 1
    @Oktokolo that gives you diabetes before making you fat tho.

    @NoMad
    Depends on your genes. Most just gain weight. Some also get diabetes.

    If you want to be sure to only get obese but no diabetes, you can just maintain six hour pauses between calory intakes. That obviously requires use of water instead of the sugary drinks between meals. Takes just a bit longer that way.
