I'll regularly mass-close over 100 tabs. My record is over 200, it might have even been over 300...

In my opinion it just shows a severe lack of self organisation.
100 tabs plus just show that you lack self control. You cannot remember all tabs and switching between tabs to find the right one is just inefficient. -
Chrome's tab groups have been a lifesaver for work. I keep a general-purpose window with a couple of tabs like email and anything miscellaneous, and one or two windows with a few tab groups for different things I'm working on. If you subdivide or prune groups that get too big, you get all the benefits of keeping lots of tabs with all the benefits of a few clean tabs that you can identify at a glance.

More than 10 tabs open stresses me out. It's the one part of my life I keep tidy. 😂

Every time I join a Zoom call with classmates to do a group project, someone starts looking anxious about all of my open Chrome tabs...

I’m really bad at closing my tabs. I’ll often have 40+ tabs open when tackling some sort of problem or when doing research. Sometimes I’ll crack open another browser instance to research something unrelated. I use a tab session saver to save all of my instances before a reset. But the funny part is, I almost never go back into my stored sessions. I’ll just open up a fresh browser after restarting and the cycle begins anew.
I need help.
