Who in his/her right mind will do android development with Vim instead of Android Studio????

I use vim to edit linux config and some text files..but I prefer sublime for heavy dev 😎

"We are better than you because we use a terminal based editor" is basically what this is saying.

NDK C++ programming for android. You don't use android studio because it's a java IDE. You build apps with cygwin and ndk kit.

I meet a guy once would did a month long course on VIM. What a waste of time. An IDE should take 1 hour to learn.

@ninjaintrouble You can develop with the NDK right from Android Studio and use your preferred compiler.Just Like you can use Android Studio with another JDK.
In short, Android Studio doesn't come with cygwin or NDK...you configure that.

@KnightsOfCode Vim was a popular editor in the 90s and most kids today think they can become 'Dennis Ritchie' by using it.
The point is being productive and I have never seen a person using VIM for large projects being more productive than others.
