[at the end of a coding interview]

Me: Do you have any questions for me or the company that I can help to answer?

Candidate: Normally I have many questions to the future teammates, but you're not from the team I'm interviewing for so no I have no questions.

Reasonable (if they weren't going to work with you).

Having no questions is a big red flag.

    All the best.

@Floydimus A red flag for what?

@thezla for not having researched enough about the role and company.

No questions mean either you know everything or nothing. Chances are former are low for a new candidate so latter..

That also indicates, candidate is not curious enough to know more about the company, work culture, etc etc. Shows lack of pro active attitude.

@Floydimus but... what if I know everything, or my questions were already answered in the last 3 hours I've been sitting on this chair needing to run to the toilet but can't.

@Floydimus I've been doing this way to long 😢

Would it be impolite to go have a shit while on a call?
That's what headphones are for right, right?

@C0D4 see this is where perspective comes into the picture.

Look at this way, would be efficient utilisation of time if I interview while on my potty breaks?

World will be your playground then.

@Floydimus I see what you mean.

let me go add "great multitasking skills when in zoom calls" on my CV
