C0D4681383ySubscribes for the day I see the following rant.
Fuck! My boss just found out I can do frontend work, kill me now! -
@jAsE-cAsE i can't agree more. I found out that when I have to assemble something simple super fast, libraries are great. But always when I do something more complex, libraries are just pain in the ass, and I'm ending up debugging for me completely unknown code and hacking them together. It consumes more time and energy than just building it up from scratch and plus, I will know how it works.

8lall01943y@blindXfish i kinda of agree, but i appreciate what a framework can do if you need to manage complex stuff.
The problem (for me) is that i really don't want to mess with browser inconsistencies, poorly written js, z-index fighting and putting adv webpages that aren't teaching me anything useful :)
Frontend jobs are so poorly treated and payed. -
We would like to offer you 150% more salary for a full-sack position. Only men who can front, back, and side-eye end need apply.
Upvoting so you can revel.
Thinking a future rant about them backpedaling will be a thing. -
CSS is okay and JavaScript is okay if you generate it from Typescript with strict compiler settings.
Never used Angular, but frontend is indeed pretty exhausting as user interfaces in general are hard and full of concurrency...
