The new project was started.

Planning, analysis, design.... all right.
Now contacting all the companies for partner programs, finding payment gateway that will agree to work with our country.
For fucks sake. third week goes, and still no code writing. Just researching, contacting, researching. Urgh.

I want to code already! I am just
a backend/DevOps person! When it would be coding time?!

Probably a good time to look at parts of the project that could be a challenge and start practicing or doing a POC.

@fruitfcker during design stage I have already drawn how my architecture would be looking, which technologies would be applied and other data flow stuff.

Yeah, I practice at evening and weekends, relevant technologies. Feeling the missing blanks.

But still... at job I am obligated to do not coding stuff at the moment. Hopefully at least at next week the coding time will start.

It is understandable though. even if I deal at the moment with more.... not coding things, I am still needed in order to evaluate their API things, how easy it would be to integrate those payment systems and e.t.c. Urgh. Just missing the coding time anyway.

First validate your requirements, then start coding.

A week of coding saves you many hours of planning 😬
