DUNE is such a fucking SHIT movie. 80% of the movie is DRAMA. The first 1 AND A HALF HOURS IS DRAMA!!!!!! AND THEN A LITTLE BIT ACTION AND THAT'S IT. FUCK OFF. I WASTED MY MONEY AND 2.5 HOURS OF MY LIFE THAT I CAN NEVER GET BACK. THE FUCK?????

well.... everyone has been trying to sell squid game to me, I decided to look at it for a while and see what the hype was all about, tee hee, I was disappointed. Marketing teams are doing a great job or maybe marketing has gotten easier now that almost everyone is plugged to the internet

Sad to hear that your expectations weren't met.

I loved it because it's a gorgeous and stunning made piece of art. The production design and the soundtrack make it a marvellous experience.
I do however understand critics who say that the story is a bit slow. And they're rigt, Dune is not an action movie. It's a love letter to the cinema.

I wanna watch that movie exclusively for the sandworms.

@ilechuks73 agreed about squid.. it’s overhyped shit, breaks its own rules and the characters are not only playing kids games (and the glass bridge cause fuck logic), they ARE kids. They have no clue about how to play games till the very last moment after lots of people died. Good for movie drama, huge fu to the logic.

@b2plane dune is a very good sci-fi book, just… it’s not action (yet), unlike the great majority of blockbusters… it’s politics! Drama would be about love interests and bs, the only reason the family is important in it is cause… well, the magical element(s) of the story
