That's unfortunate, but man, I love the word, "flugmodus."

@bahua literally that would be a "flying mode", but fortunately I did not send my mobile flying (yet)

They like their UI like they like their users: big, dumb, and ugly.

My Google Pixel phone recently got "upgraded" from Android 11 (which used to have an elegant UI) to Android 12 with this broken UI. Does this also happen to AOSP? Pixel used to be my first original Google phone, and it will also be the last one. Time to check out the new Fairphone and have another go at a google-free AOSP installation!
