Ok I'm seriously getting sick of this shit, my new manager wants us to have the fucking 12 hour night shifts from the office for .....no reason??!! for her own fucking entertainment I suppose!

I knew the day would come where my happy times at the new job would be over, my target now is stay 3 more months so I've been there for at least a year then see what happens. fuck me.

    That’s absurd. Sounds like a place that focuses more on looking busy rather than productivity. Good thinking to look elsewhere, those types of places can be very toxic.

    I can see your angle with "trying to be there at least a year", but your health deterioration might cost you on the not-so-long run.
    GTFO. It's a good time to be a dev in the market, your next company most likely will ignore the short stay on your current circle of hell.

    @JsonBoa I can bear her stupidity for now as she cannot force it since the company made night shifts from home during covid times, had a recruiter contact me 2 days ago and will start lining up my options incase things are going to get worse.
