@justasithlord I might be wrong but I think that's a nouveau error message. I used to see it on Mint too

@comradebeaglsky I asked since when I was using Nvidia display drivers the GPU would fall off the bus everytime I'd hibernate and it stopped after I switched to Intel drivers

@josh1238 true, but something still has to be turning it into pixels. I forgot agout the IGPU.

flag020318y@franga2000 if i am correct on some until you handover the display to the OS, the OS can still put messages on the console using the BIOS and it will print it on display.

When this happened to me it was a dedicated Nvidia that was not tied down well enough (the GPU I mean on the chip itself)...
Someone...Not saying who... Might have unscrewed a couple screws and forgot to put em back...
And the poor thing actually HAD FALLEN OFF THE BUS!!
And the dev that wrote the error rests easy!!
