Interviewer: Any plans on pursuing Masters?

Me: I haven't thought about it so far

Interviewer: You know what, work here for 1-2 years then go do your Masters, then join Google or Facebook

Me: Ok :|

@A-0-C I wanted to tell him that but I thought he was being sarcastic, turns out he told the same thing to my buddy who also got selected

Me: So, between me joining your company and getting my Masters, which of the two are you saying is the gateway drug to the "good stuff"?

Sometimes you come across that one person who genuinely wants to help instead of just profit from your labour. That's really rare

@chrisalexthomas and that exact same person is taking interview when you get to google/Facebook

Then that's almost a shoe in, you took his advice and he obviously has your back, you cant lose

He got you with pragmatism and realism of his. I'd have liked it though for I don't like when people think they own me and they express it outloud: Them: We like you and we hope you'll retire here.
Me: Wait a minute, I'm 25.

@treeroot because that same person is planning his/her future is the same smart way, maybe? Has anyone been at the doors of those companies? Or works there?
