I'm not going to have a lot of new friends here but I am fed up with all those guys complaining about CSS on devRant.
CSS is damn easy. Get over it. Take some lessons, learn it the right way and shut your mouth.
I'd prefer you share your enlighten opinion on CSS in JS with React Native or CSS compositing with ReactJS which are both huge pain in the ass.
Plain CSS isn't the cause of all your pain. You are.11 -
I am always caught in the middle of Nerf gunfights as my colleagues love shooting at each other all around the clock.
And I hate it so much that I decided to remove all ammo from the battlefield.
No ammo, no gunfights. Does that make sense?11 -
Fuck you Coinbase.
I was about to make a really nice 20% intraday trade and the platform went down at the very moment I was buying back. This morning BTC & ETH rates were above the ones I sold off. Fuck you Coinbase.10 -
A couple of months ago I bought a two year licence for PHPStorm but shortly after I started this new job as React Web developper and everyone in my new team has been using Visual Studio Code with a specific set of plugins and settings which make I my premium IDE useless.
What an investment I did.7 -
I should wait a bit longer before sharing this but looks like I am going to get a fulltime contracting position in a company that develops Netflix-like on-premises solutions for global brands, TV channels and telcos. I would with the team write hybrid app targeting phones, tablets, IP Tvs & consoles. I am waiting for them to call my two references and then voilà. Byebye e-commerce and WordPress, Welcome JS, React and Haxe. So excited this morning.3

Unsurpisingly, an in-house client reported a visual bug in IE. So I candidly asked him which version of browser he was running. He told me with confidence: 11. As I couldn't reproduce the bug I asked him where he found the version number. He answered: "below the laptop on a sticker".
Well, it happened to be the year of construction of the computer.2
