Why is there so much stuff to learn and know? I just want to be able to do everything myself in a week.

    A lot of things to learn and do and experience vs. limited life and limited brain power.

    Because meat bags learn the same like 300 years ago, by reading and repeating.

    Ain't that a blessing? You'll never run out of things to learn, you'll never run put of things to see :)

    @rantydev I take that ;-)

    Why do you need to learn and know everything? You have google in your pocket.

    This is why after tinkering with so much crap, I now focus on 3 or 4 languages that cover all use cases. TypeScript for front end, Go for back end, and Dart for mobile, with Python as a spare. Much less cognitive load now. Depending on your approach, you could just use one language for everything if you so desire.

    @OzzyTheGiant yeah, I wanted to learn go to replace Python, but then I always get more stuff done just doing it in Python as I already know it. For Frontend it's basically only Javascript anyway. And then terraform for all infrastructure stuff.
