Twitter should be connected to a health tracking device so that users would only be able to reply to tweets as long as their pulse and blood pressure is still on a relaxed level. This could prevent dysfunctional "social" media "discussions" a lot.

    Tweet Elon Musk. Could be a "verified calm badge"

    ... that would be an amazing new precedent for the amazing Brave New World after The Great Reset.

    ... there are much better, and noninvasive, ways to social engineer a social media site to promote an actual good discourse.

    What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid.

    First issue: people with high blood pressure will be discriminated against.
    Second: some people are calm while angey

    Dude, That's actually a good idea. There are smart watches that watch Stress levels n stuff.

    The accuracy is stupid and it basically only monitors heartrate with some extra steps but yknow... I could build a website that only allows you to post as long as the watch is reading normal values ...

    Would be Impossible to enforce but fuck it, 90% of the userbase would be too lazy to trick it

    Actually lets do the opposite, lets make DevRant that only allows you to post when you're fucking pissed

    @Hazarth it would be the end of the joke/meme category

    @jessj

    I'm reminded mine was 200 / 100 the other day..

    Now, who said coding wasn't stressful. ;-)

    Starting taking pills for it, now down to, let me check my watch..

    145 / 87

    @jessj @Hazarth yeah I remember a friend told me he had a fitness tracker that was supposed to track distress / unhealthy unhappiness, problem was when he was sad and depressed that was mistaken for feeling calm and relaxed.

    So don't trust body tracking devices.

    But I pay more attention now and try not to post when I am upset, except for devrant, of course ;-)
