As a junior dev accidentally running rm -rf / on a production server

    @theactionslacks I was told to run the command as suspected to delete a file /site but accidentally hit return before typing site, I cancelled but by this point it had taken out a lot of core files. Site data was safe and we had backups, just took a little bit of calming down. This was many years ago when I started my career but something I carry and as a senior I remind my juniors to never run that command without double and triple checking!

    In normal companies juniors wouldn't even have access to perform something like this... Suits them right.

    I've learned myself to always put the "-rf" part behind the folder you want to delete, this has saved me more than once...

    @Torbuntu yeah I had used sudo but my phone auto corrected to Audi so I edited post to remove it then realised it replaced sudo
