How will you call your kid?

Well if you are naming your son, everything should be hardcore
i7 6950x is still the best
    Titan xp 4 way sli
    64 GB ram

@sam9669 the micro-lag will be horrible, so 2-3 way will do it better
  • 0
@sam9669 and the 6950x is the best rednering cpu, but because of only the 3 ghz clock an overclocked 7700k will do better in games.
  • 2
@ohYogi oh, and on the asus rampage v edition x you can put up to 128 gb ram^^
  • 0
@ohYogi the micro lag Must be a hardware issue, like loose cable, less power supply etc .... check this
  • 1
@ohYogi the 7700k has been seeing sudden power spike from the last 3 months, so not sure will recommend it to anyone
  • 0
@ohYogi I mean ram can be up to 128 GB but 64 GB still saves the buck and great performance as well

    ryzen sounds cool 🤔

Of course something meaningful and cool at the same time, something so low and so high at the same time that nobody touches it with out a good reason and nobody messes with it. It would call him GentooArch Pichardo

@sam9669 It is not. The timing between 4 graphiccards is impossible, and everyone of these only make 1/4 of the framerate. So you have microlags.

Xeon Octocore, 4way sli K80, 128 GB of ram and 256 GB pci flash drive as Swap

This post made me spew out my meal. Had quite a giggle :D

Uhm, for me more like Ryzen 1800X 1080TI in SLI 32 GB RAM DDR4 3200MHZ 1TB NVMe 960 Pro

@QCat Why do you need swap in this setup? What the hell do you want to load in there?!
  • 0
@vortexman100 do you know what a Nvidia K80 is? xD
  • 0
@QCat Yes... but what does this have to do with your swap?
  • 0
@vortexman100 LSTM NEURAL NETWORKS WITH CUDA WITH 7000 LAYERS OF 15000 NEURONS 😆
  • 0
@QCat Uhm... ok... wha... i dont even... k...
  • 0
@vortexman100 this way I set up an AI to do all my coding and I focus on designing software xD
  • 0
@vortexman100 and a second one to teach the first one how to debug code
  • 0
@QCat I think the Quadro k6000 is also good for that, an D the titan xp pascal ones also are for deep learning
  • 0
@sam9669 but Tesla cards like the K80 have faster memory transfer which is what would bloat there
  • 0
@QCat they also use the DRIVE 2 system check out one of my rants about it, ssd storage with the graphics chip in the motherboard the size of a coconut I think (I haven't a seen physically) and 3 cameras,
so that the image recognition can be done on the move
  • 0
@sam9669 this is for transfer of video stream, the drive px implementation has to be fast so the nn is stored on card and stream is transmitted, in my case, the nn is too big for the card and is streamed to it
  • 0
@QCat 1. I thought you meant tesla cars*, my bad
    2. But the quadro I mentioned has 25GB gddr5 vram card and yours has 12 GB
  • 0
@sam9669 but the Quadro is slower in transfert speed from RAM and disk which is critical here.
  • 0
@QCat a network sufficient to knowingly make code based on textual specifications would be 500 GB fat at least. Or human coders would be less valuables than a bot xD
  • 0
@QCat yours has 240GB/s and mine has 288GB/s and that 25GB gddr5 of mine is after pairing 2 of those, so its just the memory bandwidth that matters, still quadro has 48GB/s more
