    The worst is when there is a sleep or a switch-off button near delete button.

    I had the same problem on my previous laptop. It had an calculator button on the left most of the left ctrl button. My god, HP, why?!

    @aleksanderakero 5 years ago I'd agree. Now everyone over the age of 10 has a smartphone with a calculator built in.

    I will say on the Mac using the calculator in spotlight is pretty convenient though.

    having the insert button so close too is just freaking terrible.

    I don't need a calculator button to open many calculators: win+r -> calc -> open the app -> forget to close

    @lynxis i keep pressing insert without even knowing it, my keys are too light

    I have a Microsoft Ergonomic Desktop bundle. It has a detonated numpad separate from the keyboard and yet there's still a calculator button on both keyboard and numpad.
    Microsoft really loves calculating stuff!

    @crystalclear Not that I know of. Probably, but it did not come with any software to do so. Like some of the gaming keyboards do.

    @aleksanderakero It used to be re-mappable in Control Panel years ago (I'm talking Windows ME)
    I think there's some software you can install though to setup custom key mapping.

    @itsdaniel0 Thanks, I'll have a look. Although I think that very soon I will have spilled my coffee on this one ;p
