Hey all, can you guys recommend some great books on database theory and design. Something aimed towards intermediate towards advanced. It doesn't have to be sql, I just want to learn how to make a kick a#@ db.
Thanks!!!!!!!

    @3141 Given that the second link in Google results is a quora question of this very nature if everyone gave that kind of answer at some point we'd decide to kill sarky people like you for the good of the Internet.

    Maybe a community such as this is likely to give more recent or relevant answers.

    @alwaysmpe The main difference is that platforms like Quora are actually intended for questions.
    The answers are even recent (end of 2016). So if OP would have thought of trying to google first, there would have been no need to even ask the question.

    @alwaysmpe But that might just be StackExchange's "duplicate question" policy being stuck in my head.

    Sorry about that, I looked on quora and stackover. But the books they suggested were for beginners amd they are pretty mean on stackoverflow.

    @Psikosen Then I'm sorry.
    Just mention it next time you ask such a question so that even the mean and bitter people like me can accept it.
