Interesting that it installed an apk haha. Many websites bait u though. Even Fdroid they want u to use their Fdroid app instead their website to download apps.

Yt2mp3.cc has gone to the shitter, it doesn't even download mp3 all the time anymore but some weird format

yt-dlp is the best solution to this. You just run it with -F first to get a list of formats, find the highest quality audio-only one and then run with -f #format to get it downloaded

If you have a server, there's open-source frontends for yt-dlp that will give you a nice Interface. I bet you could run one locally, perhaps even via docker.

Downloading from YouTube is a solved problem for devs
