As Arch is a well-established distribution now, its users' perceived need to assert dominance has gone down significantly. Hence there are less "I use Arch btw" comments now.

I use Gentoo btw.

@PotatoCookie That is highly unlikely - but grats if you actually do.

@Oktokolo it was meant more in a comedic way BUT I used to actually. Not as a day-to-day setup but I did go through the book and had a VM running my very own CoffeeOS (lol).

The VM is however now defunct and I don't have the spark to pick it back up or redo it. Maybe in the future.

@PotatoCookie Come to Gentoo - it is as close to LFS as it can get without getting impractical. Rolling-release, source-based, with good package management and all about choice.

@Oktokolo Quite happy with the current Arch desktop and Manjaro laptop however. Too lazy to struggle with proprietary laptop NVidia driver hell.

Gentoo is on the "to try sometime" list though.
