    Voluntarily getting drunk is stupid.

    In the end, everything is toxic.

    Be it weed, alcohol, sugar, caffeine, nicotine...

    @ALMST you're a monster, jasE

    @ostream that's not necessarily true.

    While THC can be consumed in different ways (organic damage like to the lungs by smoking could be avoided)...

    Weed is still a plant based drug.

    Neurotoxicity could apply - if overused or contaminated product, e.g. herbicides.

    There are no good drugs. Stop believing that, please.

    @ostream I'm not doing semantics.

    I'm just very tired of THC consumers who think they found a miracle cure it all drug without side effects.

    Cause that doesn't exist.

    Medicine can have severe side effects, too.

    Doesn't mean THC is all bad by the way. Just stop pretending it has zero side effects / is a miracle cure it all, and I'm fine with it.

    Do whatever makes you happy, but be real - it's a drug, daily consumption leads to addiction and if you're dependent on it, it has definitely side effects on your body.

    @ostream

    I didn't do any comparison at all.

    And I will not go down that lane.

    All I'm saying is ... Don't say THC has no side effects. Thats all.

    @bigmonsterlover

    Of course it is an addiction...

    Doesn't matter if it's antidepressants, glucocorticoids, ... .

    Even for substances who are not known to have an addiction effect, a good doctor will tell you that it's better to taper it off slowly and watch out for possible side effects.

    Physical addiction. Or ""physical dependence" to use the nicer term as addiction was mis associated...

    I'm so sick of this discussions. In the past years we had plenty of them here on devrant.

    Let me tell you as an occupational therapist leading a daycare for grown ups with mental disorders, I have plenty of young man got their illness triggered by THC. Suffering with schizophrenia...

    All of them never getting their old life back.
