For a good reason. In development for a customer, especially dealing with more strict and bigger companies shit like this will break your neck in a heartbeat in deployment.

I get it, it's supposed to be provocative but depending on the environment, people simply don't want or have the time to deal with this.

@ryanmhoffman would you put a sticker on your laptop saying "My favorite hardcoded string is' localhost' " on your laptop? Probably not.

@floatright no, the top right corner is off by a few degrees down. ffs.

Fixed a software issue once that had the build broken, junior dev had not updated his build in weeks and we all kept telling him to. This was my response for days before he showed up one day sad looking talking about having done an update and "It works on my machine"
