Click the triangle below "Copying files" and see what it is struck in!

Maybe you should check that you are NOT booting the usb drive in UEFI mode, boot via USB WITHOUT UEFI mode

Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning "I dont know how to install Debian"

@brunofontes use checksum or next time download over torrent so you can check integrity and in case it is damaged you can fix it downloading only missing parts.
Remember that also if the downloaded file is good maybe rufus (or the software that you used) have failed something in this case try to disable antivirus protections for external devics like "block autorun" etc....

Greeeat, It took of some of my files during partitioning. I noticed I had an error message, but everything looked fine.

Now I don't even know which files I lost.

Same happening with Elementary. I will check the BIOS again and try with another pendrive.

A little late to this rant but if still having trouble look into possibly using drive droid. It's an android app that lets you mount an iso and have the Android device act as the USB device. Also might want to try nomodeset within grub for that live installation.Though I think you have to be rooted.

@DebRogue it worked now. I changed the pendrive, the way I was recording the iso on pendrive and reset my BIOS. Now everything worked fine. :)
