    Does Magisk work on your device? I've been using it to play Pokemon Go, not had any issues.

    Most apps only check safety net on first startup. Which means that if you unroot install app and root again. You'll probably be fine.

    The root check is stupid...
    it will simpler to modify the bank app, and repackage.

    I don't know what you need your phone to be rooted for, but think about why they don't want you to install an app with highly sensitive data on a rooted phone.
    Maybe it is programmed in a way, that let's third parties access data, which they absolutely shouldn't access.
    It would be bad programming but I can imagine, that the mobile sector of most financial institutions are not designed that good.

    TL;DR: maybe you shouldn't install that app on a rooted phone

    A custom ROM won't help...safetynet checks for unlocked bl etc...your only choice is to install magisk (also lineage sucks)

    @SHA-256 Unfortunately I agree with you on that last part. Shame it didn't live up to my expectations.

    @SmirkingBandit
    As a guy who works for a company specialising in making such apps,
    i Strongly agree with you!!

    @SmirkingBandit I am guessing they have a rooted phone to enable adblocking along with debloating phone of system apps. Not to mention being able to set a firewall and change what permissions an app had access to.At least those are the things I typically do.
