Enough is enough!!!
I just received an email from HR because "Your not supposed to work that much as a trainee! Your should study at home"

WELL THANK YOU, BUT DID IT EVER COME TO YOUR MIND THAT I MIGHT ACTUALLY BE WORKING?!

I just wrote back that I have tons of stuff to do, and that they can talk to my boss if they want me to work less.

So to sum up:
I solve problems and get screamed at by HR in return?
IT FUCKING GREAT

actually hr is right, it's an aprentiship after all and you should concentrate on your health, wellbeeing and the grades in school. Remember, you are not a property of your boss and if he doesn't manage to finnish jobs without you, because he hired to few that's not your fault but his. look after yourself 🙂

@heyheni thx m8 I am aware of that but it does not seem fair anyway... there is not even a thank you when I save them over and over again

@divil that's the plan but it's hard to get a job with "only" an apprenticeship...

@SISheogorath in switzerland apprentiships have usually a fixed pay rate (1.yr $700, 2.yr $900, 3.yr $1200, 4.yr $1400, normal avg. swiss income $5500) So he probably won't get more money. 😐 That's the reason why he souldn't work that much.

@divil sure agree with you for the real world, but not in a goverment controlled swiss apprentiship.

@heyheni I also dont get, why here in Switzerland the apprenticeship is 4 years and not 3. They should shorten it to 3 years, the forth year you wont learn anything new.

    Also the apprentice should get much more pay. 1. 800$ 2. 1600$ 3. 2400 4. 3500$

Unfortunatly all the company's just offer the least legal pay in Switzerland from the goverment and get later a cheap worker...

@MoboTheHobo True, but I think the 4 years are needed but they should teach more useful stuff which directly influences experience.

    @MoboTheHobo the 4th year has 2 purposes.
    1. return of investment for the employer, he has spent 4x30'000 CHF for the school tuition and the salery.
    2. strengthening the work routine.

@heyheni Employers dont pay for the school tuition, that is funded by the goverment with tax money.

The only thing a emplyoer is paying you, is you're little salery as apprentice.

Just to clear things up: I WILL NOT STOP TO GO THE EXTRA MILE!
But sometimes I need to blow of steam...
