I have a customer who has to look up why Operating System corruption happens on computers before he gives us the ok to reinstall Windows on his computer.

FML....

To be honest, that is fair. I can understand it can happen by a faulty harddrive and reinstalling windows on it won't solve the issue.

The hardware is okay, though. A glitch while downloading or installing is the reason it's corrupt (it says that it's unable to apply registry change x).

But no, the customer is like "why does OS corruption happen? What causes it? Let me look up why OS corruption happens and then I'll get back to you."

    Like what the fuck?!

@RiderExMachina ah, that is weird indeed, in that case telling the customer the reason: "download glitch" should be enough. Stupid clients :(

Believe me, we tried. He still wants to do his own research. Kudos to him, I guess, but still...

Turns out he had turned off his computer during the update. Jee, I wonder if that could have caused it /s

@RiderExMachina at least the client found out the reason himself.
