I love minecraft devs. I used to be one as well, I did custom plugins for servers.
Had a hella fun time doing it

@DjSall I hate bukkit and everything similar but I made some mods for tweaking various mechanics, recipes and so on in a modpack/server that has 300+ mods in it and that I'm actively developing and maintaining since 2012.... man... I just realized that I spent 5 years fixing crashes and updating this modpack

@D3add3d thats really cool. But why do you hate bukkit? It has its difficulties but I liked working with it.

@DjSall I don't really know anymore... I think my hate comes from being employed by server owners who would require me to install and set up a permission system, auth system and then put the server in offline mode so "non-premium"(fucking warez monsters) players could join. The server owners then proceeded to abuse the plugins as much as they could eventually breaking something and then blaming me and requiring that I fix it(and since they never paid for a hosting server with more storage than 500MB there were no backups)

@D3add3d thats why I took money for doing it once, and every fix would require extra payments. My 13 year old self knew how to do business :'D

@DjSall yeah... I just quit and joined a small modded server by the name of TechniFORGE which was a testing server for TechniCraft but after some floods that hit the datacenter where their server was, TCFORGE was closed and I created KingForge with much smaller community but actively maintained to this day
