Normal I think. Just go to the 'start' menu and you can search for stuff there or go to categories etc :). Hmu if you have further questions!

@pascal-dev Left bottm there's a mint logo thingy you can click on. From there you can browse through applications and type stuff in the search box to search around. Let me know if that works out!

@pascal-dev any way you could post the contents of /var/log/X11/ the newest log file, might be a X server issue

@pascal-dev got it, if u dont like looking for issues u should probably eiyher reinstall or install another desktop environment to see if the issue persists or at least another window manager, anything u need jus tag or send me a keybase message

@pascal-dev which ever u want I use i3 but need a little ricing to work and look well, id recommend installing either gnome or xfce

you may check your monitor settings with the monitor hardware buttons. Maybe there is a problem with overscan and the bottom bar is cut off?
