Seriously now, there is no optimal language for everything each solves a problem. I don't think there will be optimal language ever (maybe C & C++ but don't really know I don't work with either of them, last time I used C was 4 years ago and on a very basic level)

@Torbuntu Follow-up thought/question comes to mind. Is the JVM more susceptible to exploitation or e.g. firmware, kernel, C libraries? Assuming long-running code
