So reddit and twitter pulling the plug for 3rdparty apps and users. What u guys think?

Evaluating My own idea for a less shittier version of youtube without shorts and stuff...

    I came to Twitter after Musk killed it and it is sortof okay for the occasional scrolling. Don't need any apps there - the website works good enough.

    And i came to Reddit right as the "protest" happened. It is good for the special interest communities and again, the website works good enough - no need for any apps.

    To me it feels like this is actually about people who either do some mass-traffic shenanigans, don't know that uBlock Origin exists, or feel like using a webbrowser on a phone is illegal (but yeah, i basically use my phone exclusively for navigation, ebooks and phone calls - so maybe they got a point there).

    @Oktokolo all that Reddit fight is created by admin with power trips. They are harming the community. 95% of the subreddit members don’t know or don’t care about API issue because they use original apps.
