I must admit, installing updates through terminal is waaaaay better, never faced a damn issue like lag and shit. But with Windows Update & macOS App Store i face lots of bugs that sometimes result in system restarting update by it self, and with my 2Mbits internet restarting a 2GB update is painful

@gitpush well using update i never had an issue
But sometimes apt is so stupid.
I had an issue with openjdk and i tried to reinstall it.

So...
#apt purge -y openjdk
It fucked up cuda-toolkit All (not only jdk related) dependices

Yep, totally, every Linux distro I use I always update from the terminal xD

@Marlo you can if you use apt instead of apt-get, then you'll get a progress bar on the bottom of the Terminal. ;)
