To the Linux users, what's your system like? And how do you use it?

All of my Linux setups are shrouded in a history of death, dismay, and fresh reinstalls. I'm pretty happy with em, but they're not very customized. 1 Raspbian, 1 Debian, 2 Ubuntu, and numerous liveUSBs, some with persistence (can't remember which). I know, kind of horrifying. Throw that in with two windows dual boots.

There are only two programs I have that I wouldn't want to live without: git bash prompt (changes terminal readout when in a git directory) and screen (lets you open new "tabs" without a gui).

I got a Manjaro laptop as my daily development driver.
Everything except games and thibga which are heavily dependant on nvidia drivers just works.

It's cool. I use it mostly by using the keyboard and screen, sometimes even a mouse.

    I run Arch on everything,

Desktop PC: Mainly set up as a server bit does have multi monitor, etc for when I need to sit in front of it, mostly accessed through SSH from my phone or laptop.

Laptop: Standard set up, Gnome, web browser, etc. Mainly used for C++/Python development.

Raspberry pi to ruin 3d printer remotely.

    Various other laptops.

All with SSH so I can do maintenance remotely.

Never had to do a reinstall since install just rolling updates, rarely ever gives me any issues.

I used Arch with i3wm once. But my college imposes self signed certification for connecting to the internet. That broke a lot of my updates. Rendering it useless. I vowed to wait for my college to complete.
