We3D26521yyeah continue to corrupt the young minds and when they fail on their first WFH try they bring back the WFO policies...

@We3D If they don't know what work ethics is, it's their fault and what they deserve.

retoor116811yTip: send emails on Sunday, small effort and you'll look dedicated. Learned that from a manager

retoor116811y@evilskua another point of view. We call it "een hart voor de zaak hebben". "Have a heart for the business because the business is also hard for you"

retoor116811y@atheist oh fuck, didn't get it that way. Hmm, does even translate the same. Never noticed

iiii92261yDammit. Busted. Recently got a Switch and been using it intermittently during the day on a second monitor at home while working

jeeper59661y@retoor the key here is getting things in people’s inbox Monday morning. Bc many of them will just start doing something on Monday and stretch that for a whole week. So if you are in the inbox on Monday, they might do the thing you requested!

retoor116811y@jeeper yeah, that's how we think. But believe me, that manager didn't. Made his job of looking busy especially by attending every existing meeting. I worked with him before corporate - nobody noticed he didn't do an f. But then i worked with him at smaller company and eventually he had to run. Also, i asked him for Jira workflow change, as long he didn't fix that I won't register my hours. He filled in MY hours for like year instead of my request. Worth it
