So I'm in the middle of the website migration that was made in Wordpress.

Just made a database dump and decided to take a look at it cause it looked really big for a site that only needs internal management. Found out they use contact form plugin which stores binary of attachments directly in database..

And people ask me why I hate Wordpress and so called Wordpress devs..

    I'm glad most of the truly horrible "programmers" (read: script kiddies) use PHP. It saves the rest of us from having to deal with them. 😞

    Welp, M$'s SharePoint also stores files in BLOBs, unless we configure remote blob storage in SQL.

    As much as I dont like looking at PHP code, we have to agree it gets shit done so quickly when you need it.

    @emunreas I noted the same thing when I worked at the TN state gov.
